Yes I am a boy and representations of the world in Lego really do speak to me. But this is gold – you have to agree.

My friend Damien shot the Trailer for the Sydney film festival this year. Its amazing so I thought I should share it with you. www.damiencassar.com.au
A Quantum of Solace….
Yes that’s right. Its time to talk about the new James Bond film. Given that this blog is given over to all kinds of spotting pursuits, it will come as no surprise to you that I am a serious James Bond fan. So naturally I am very excited about the impending release of Bond 22.
I think that Daniel Craig has formed into a wonderful modern Bond. Washing away much of the bad pun humour that filled the later Brosnan films, Craig represents a clearer embodiment of the character that Fleming depicts in Casino Royale, a charming, strong, physical character, not a man of gadgets and distractions.
Any how. Enough of that … here is the trailer.

Another part of our Melbourne trip was a night time excursion to Fitzroy and dinner at St Judes Cellar (Wonderful, try it out… Restaurants with bottle shops in the front!)
Anyhow, came accross some rather wonderful little images I wanted to share.

We were in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago, and as I was guided around the city by the nice people from Hidden Secrets tours in Melbourne. They showed us a heap of cools stores and told some really wonderful stories about the place (we were lucky enough to have the founder Fiona Sweetman do the tour for us).
Here are some pics (mainly graffiti… )
I thought you might be interested in this bit of Audio from the Economist last week discussing Putin’s moves in Georgia. http://audiovideo.economist.com/
Interesting in this context, is ABC Radio National’s Rear Vision program on the background into how the conflict has come about and the origins of the nationalist movement is South Ossetia and Abkhazia. Check it out here
I came accross this great site today (thanks to lost at eminor) called face your manga, where you can create a great manga styled character, to use as an avatar. Check it out here
This is what you could look like, and to create one for yourself check out Face your Manga![]()

So here it is, I am sitting here enjoying field Hockey. Possibly because the country i support is winning, but still compelling.
I have enjoyed an afternoon of listening to both the Kill Bill sound tracks. Nobody selects music like Quentin Tarantino – here is a Wiki link talking about them.
